For those who have not traveled outside Europe it may be incomprehensible, but in Asia it is not only possible to eat for one Euro but it is the most common. I am not talking about doing it in restaurants with Michelin stars and a luxury service but neither about eating insects, unless that is exactly what one wants to do.

If in Spain the bread scrupulously accompanies all meals, The basic diet of countries from India to Vietnam invariably relies on two main options: rice or noodles (noodles). If they are combined in their different varieties with meat, fish or vegetable options, whole menus arise that are not wasted for Asian food lovers.

The best way to taste the food, and in this Thailand where I am now is no exception, is to eat as the locals do. In Asia you live, work, talk, eat, from very early until night, on the street.

The fact that street stalls and small shops always have to be served by someone so as not to lose a single customer, forces them to have nearby a place to eat cheap.

With the dimensions of an ice cream cart we find kitchens on wheels, sometimes pushed by the cook and other hooked, as a sidecar, to a moped for travel. Y anywhere is a dining roomBe it an alley, the entrance to a park, under the overpass of a train or along a bustling road.

Plastic stools and folding tables turn any corner where the business is installed into a restaurant. As the concept of elongated desktop is radically different from Spanish, diners they sit, eat and get up to return to their chores, quickly leaving free space for the next client.
