Visas to travel to Australia

Among most European countries, including Spain and Andorra, they can apply for a visa through an electronic travel authorization (ETA). It allows a tourist or business ticket for a maximum of three months. This is a completely electronic request that does not require filling in forms or sending the passport to the Embassy. In addition multiple entries are allowed for 12 months. It costs 20 Australian dollars (about 11 euros) and can be paid automatically by credit card.

Work visa on vacation:
Since 2000 there are a number of countries that enjoy the possibility of working for a few months in Australia. Truly the list is very long but unfortunately among them there is no Spanish-speaking country: The United Kingdom, Holland, Belgium, Malta, Sweden, Ireland, Germany, Canada, Japan Korea, Taiwan, Denmark, Norway, Hong Kong, Finland , Cyprus, Italy, France and Estonia.

Apparently, Australia and Spain are in negotiations so that this possibility is extended to Spanish travelers but it is still unknown if the negotiations will finally be fruitful.
