June has always seemed to me, along with May, September and October, one of the best months to travel. Travel in June (at least in the warm zone of the northern hemisphere) it assures you days with many hours of light, warm weather, but without burning, and, the most important, absence of masses of summer tourists, which usually leads to more affordable prices. They are all advantages!
There are many destinations that give off a bright light in June. Among those who have visited, I leave these suggestions for you to choose where to travel in June:
Of course, I have to start with my hometown. The truth is Alicante It looks good at almost any time (what am I going to say!), but I include it in the place of honor of the places to travel in June because It is in this month when the city lives its most intense week of the year. And it comes to Alicante the Feast of the Bonfires of San Juan.
Although the main acts of the party are held between June 18 and 24 (with special intensity from 20), the truth is that the atmosphere begins to impregnate with gunpowder, music, party and joy since early June.
Mascletàs, barracks, street party, music, good vibes everywhere, monument 'fogueriles' that will burn consumed by fire the night of June 24, parades, parades, tradition... Alicante boils activity during those days. If you do not have vacations, know that the big days this year will fall on the weekend of June 21-23. Do not miss the Bonfires of San Juan de Alicante!Click on this link and fill your trip to Alicante with great excursions
2. Delta del Ebro
4 years ago, I was lucky to be able to travel to the Ebro Delta in June. Our base of operations was the population of Sant Carles de la Ràpita.
For several days, we visited different coastal cities in the area and made a good number of fun outdoor activities. It was there that I tried, for the first time in my life, the wakeboard (a kind of water skiing, but without being pulled by a boat, but through a wiring system) and the SUP (Stand Up Paddle Surf). I also tried to fly a kite from kitesurf, I drove a small motorboat in open water and sailed the seas aboard a small, but powerful sailboat.
In addition, I could accompany all this of the great gastronomy of the area, with fish and seafood that took away the meaning.
The Ebro Delta is filled with tourists in July and August, so if you don't like crowds, it is one of the best destinations in Spain to travel to in June.Click on this link and enjoy the best excursions on the Costa Dorada
